What shape of bow tie for your morphology?
At Le Colonel, we make several shapes of bow ties: Classic, Pointed, Slim, or Cocktail. For the tall and/or robust, we recommend the classic shape.
For the short, we recommend rather the slim or the pointed. For the "normals", have fun and choose your preferred shape.

Are the bows delivered tied?
Yes, all the bows are delivered tied. You just have to clip it around your neck using the snap buttons.
However, they are real bow ties, to be tied and untied at will!

What is the size of the bow ties?
All our bow ties are equipped with snap buttons that fit most neck sizes, from 38 to 44 cm.
If you are more than 44 cm, you will need to order your bow tie in custom size specifying your neck size. It's just HERE

Maintenance/washing of Le Colonel bow ties?
Our bow ties are produced in our workshop in Lille with attention. They are mostly made of Cotton or Linen.
Washing advice: if you want to clean your bow tie / tie, first it will have to be untied to be cleaned more effectively. Then in the machine on delicate mode or maximum 30°. You can also wash it by hand. Air dry. No dryer.
Regarding silk & wool products, wash exclusively by hand, or directly in a dry cleaner.
Which shirt to choose?
Regarding the color, we advise you to opt for a white or ecru shirt. Much more chic and easy to match.
The choice of your collar is essential, it must be small and its tips must be aligned with your bow. An English collar or Claudine collar for the most daring will be perfect!
We often hear that bow ties are only worn with a broken collar, referring to the famous bow tie/smoking duo.
Today, the bow tie is also and especially worn with a casual shirt.

that you can match with your bow!
Each bow tie also comes with its matching pocket square and cufflinks.

Do you sell fabric?
The fabrics from our range are for sale if you wish to use them for decoration or for Mr.'s costume, subject to sufficient stock.
